Winter Program - Thorn Hill Panel Discussion

You are invited to attend our November Program entitled: "Thorn Hill Panel Discussion". We will meet on Sunday November 20, 2011 at 2pm in the Council Chambers of the Cranberry Township Municipal Center at 2525 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. For those who may not know, the Allegheny County Industrial and Training School for Boys at Thorn Hill was a facility used to make good citizens out of the delinquent boys of Allegheny, Butler and surrounding Counties, situated on approximately 1500 acres of land in Cranberry & Marshall Township's, in what is now known as Thorn Hill Industrial Park.

The CTHS Program Committee has assembled a panel of speakers to aid in a group discussion about Thorn Hill. If you have recollections of Thorn Hill and would like to share your thoughts, be sure to join us. We will be counting on all attendees to share their memories to help make this a great event. There will be a powerpoint slide show to accompany the discussion, light snacks and refreshments and as usual, this will be a free event open to members and the general public.
