Holiday Tree Gallery
The holiday tree and decorations at Sample School were set up today. This year we have replaced the 6 foot tree used in past years with a 7.5 foot tree (This Tree from Home Depot). Stop up at the Municipal Center and take a look. Don't forget to vote for your favorite tree, or I mean, our tree. Thank you to Arlene, Irene and Joyce for helping me get this done today. Also for making some new decorative gift boxes to put under the tree and some extra ornaments to accommodate the new larger tree.
Yesterday I learned that some of our decorations had been vandalized in the school house. The vandal was caught red-handed in the schoolhouse (or maybe red-pawed is a better term) and released to the wild. We will need to check the building over to see if there is an entry point for critters to get in, or if this one just walked in while the front door was open. The critter(s) have consumed a considerable amount of cranberry scented gift soap from the closet. They get into the closet by climbing the electrical conduit from the crawl space up to the lower shelves in the closet where the electrical panel is. The fact that they have eaten so much soap is surely a testament to the quality of the scent put in the soap!
