Grounbreaking Ceremony for 911 Memorial at 12:30pm

The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company invites everyone to the groundbreaking ceremony for their 9-11 Memorial, and to honor the fallen first responders of September 11, 2001. The event is open to the public and is free to attend.

At our October 28, 2008 board meeting, the board viewed a presentation by Allison Stebbins, a 5th grade teacher at Haine Elementary School, and her students, about the modern day use of rain barrels. Ms. Stebbins introduced the students, who put on a very nice presentation.

CTHS Launches New Website

The Cranberry Township Historical Society has launched their new website built on the Drupal Content Management System. Take a look at some of the companies using Drupal. Not on that list is http://www.whitehouse.gov/ , which is also built on the Druapl CMS. Feel free to wander around and see what's going on. The gift shop and membership area are under construction and will be live asap.
